Obituary for Frances Betts

Frances Grace Betts-- a native of Coy, AL. and a resident of Prichard, born December 25, 1912, exchanged her earthly life for everlasting life Tuesday, May 8, 2007. She was a devoted and lifelong member of Crockett Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. She was preceded in death by a devoted husband, Leo Betts and a loving son, Wilbert Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Frances Inez McDaniel, Prichard and Betty Ruth Miller, Harrisburg, PA., nine grands, Peggy Harvey, Barbara Hamilton and Rev. Allen B. Mc Daniel Sr., all of Prichard, Reginald(Charity) Garner Sr., Mobile, Diane Garner, Theresa(Ira) Layton, Beverly Miller, all of Harrisburg, PA., Grace Elaine(Michael) White, Mesquite, TX. and Debra Arnett, Houston, TX., a host of great grands, including Alyson Garner, whom she raised from an infant, great great-grands, sister, Ethel Spencer, Mobile, a host of nieces, nephews, one devoted Levi Williams,and many other loving relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, May 11, 2007 from 3-8pm and Saturday, May 12, 2007 after 11am until the 1pm funeral hour at Crockett Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, Harold Griffin, pastor Rev. Allen B. Mc Daniel Sr., officiating minister. Interment Lawn Haven.
