Sis Geneva Thomas was born April 19, 1938 to Curtis Duckworth and Ola Mae Barnes. She was a faithful member of the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church #2, where she served on the Pastor's Aid Board and the Nurse's Aid Board.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ola Mae Barnes, her father Curtis Duckworth, husband James Thomas, sister Sarah Pitts, daughter Angela (Babysister) Major, granddaughter Keshon Major, and great nephew Cavanough (Pooh) Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memories 7 children, Patricia (Michael) Williams, Loretta (Thomas) Allen, Deborah Young, Joe Major, Willie Major, John Major, and Tony Owens, all of Mobile, Al. 2 sisters, Mary Jackson and Lona Martin, 16 grandchildren (1 devoted Ikeda Duckworth), 39 great-grandchildren (1 devoted Joneshia Cooks-Smith), 5 great great-grandchildren, 5 neices (1 devoted Pamela Blanks), 3 nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
