Mr. George Clayton McCune age 78, departed this life on September 19, 2022 at a local nursing home. He was preceded in death by his father, George McCune; mother, Elizabeth Youngblood Jordan; three brothers; Elbert McCune, Charles Jordan, Jerry Jordan; a sister, Essie James; and grandson, Anthony McCune.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted daughter, Georgia McCune (Kermit) Kidd. He also leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Gregory (KaWanda) Jones; three sisters, JoAnne Peters, Evelyn (Adrian) Whitney, Pastor Mary (Henry) Pugh; a brother, Johnny (Janett) Jordan Jr. ; six grandchildren; (2 devoted) David E. McCune and Christopher McCune; Greg, Craig, Dennis, and Angel; all of Mobile, Al. Several great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends.
