Brother George Nobles was born to the union of the late Mr. Grettis Nobles, Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Powe Nobles on January 25, 1945 in Coffeeville, AL. He was called from his earthly home on Monday, April 20, 2020 at a local hospital.
Brother Nobles was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Grettis and Mrs. Carrie Powe Nobles, his brother, Grettis Nobles, Jr., his sister, Mrs. Willene Williams, and Eleva Shamburger whom he raised like his daughter.
Brother Nobles was a dedicated employee of Jordan Pile Driving for over forty years.
He leaves to cherish his sweet memories a loving and devoted wife of many years, who was the apple of his eye, Mrs. Darlene Nobles; two sons, ZaQuinn Nobles, Semmes, AL and Nekil Nobles, Semmes, AL; one daughter, Domonique Stegall, Saraland, AL; one sweet granddaughter who affectionately called him “Grand George”, Zoey Jackson, Semmes, AL; three brothers, Percy Nobles, Mobile, AL, Charlie Nobles, Mobile, AL and Bobby Nobles, Mobile, AL; six sisters, Charlean Kiel, Detroit, MI, Harriet Nobles, Detroit, MI, Lela Lewis, Claremont, CA, Frances Portis, Eight Mile, AL, Rachael Average, Fontana, CA and Adelaide (James) Roberts, Mobile, AL; one devoted nephew, Jeff (Sandra) Nobles, Mobile, AL; one devoted niece, Keyia Roper, Mobile, AL; three children that he raised as his own, Sabrina (Fredrick) McGee, Mobile, AL, Debra (Keith) Jordan, Semmes, AL, Carol (Lavelda) Alexander, Mobile, AL; one sister in law, Annette (Nathaniel) Speight, Satsuma, AL; one brother in law, John (Sheila) Austin, Chickasaw, AL; a host of other nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
