George Smith Jr. - a native and a resident of Mobile, born September 30, 1957 departed this life Thursday, January 31, 2008 at a local hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories five children, Regina (Edward) Howard, Michael Smith, Paul Traver, Tasha Prince and Mary Smith, a loving and devoted fiance', Deloris Diane Turner, mother, Deloris W. Smith, father, George (Rosie) Smith Sr., grandmother, Cloteal Jackson, sister, Patricia (Clarence) Prosise, brother, Kenneth Smith a host of nieces, nephews of relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, February 8, 2008 from 1-8pm and Saturday, February 9, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour. interment Whispering Pines Cemetery.
