Obituary for Glenmore Malone
Glenmore Malone, born July 28, 1952, - a native and resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Glenmore was a graduate of Toulminville High School Class of 1970. After graduating, he attended Bishop State Community College. Following college Glenmore was part owner of M-IlI shoes in downtown Mobile, AL along side his brothers, Leon and Eugene Malone. He was later employed by the Mobile County Public School System where he served as a Security Guard for 37 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee "Agee" Malone, Emma Louise Thompson Malone; brothers Lee Baron Malone and Leon Wesley Malone.
Glenmore Malone leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Eugene Malone of Mobile, one sister, Madeline Malone-Thompson of Stockbridge, Ga; two nephews Jason Malone Sr. of Mobile, and Zachary Jones of Stockbridge, Ga; two nieces Emalee Malone of Mobile, and Tiffany Malone of Mobile, one devoted cousin, Sarah Walker of Mobile, and one sister-in-law Sharon Malone of Mobile, a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 16th, 2023 at 1:00pm at Small’s Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street Mobile, Alabama 36603. Internment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, 800 Mobile Street Mobile, Alabama 36603.
