Deacon Gradey Manassa was born on April 8, 1938 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the union of the late CJ and Willie Bell Manassa. He was a long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama. He retired from the City of Mobile after 40 years of services. He was a member of the Greater Allenville A.O.H. Church of God, Whistler, Alabama where he served on the Deacon Board for many years.
Deacon Manassa leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 51 years Deloris Manassa; two daughters Patrice (Joseph) Kelly and Rochelle; two sons Patrick Hall and Grady Manassa Jr.; five brothers Jessie (Catherine) Manassa, Joe Louie Manassa, Larry Manassa, Paul (Shirley) Manassa and Robert Manassa; three sisters Jessie White, Lilly Bell (Charlie) McCovery and Pinkie Manassa; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one devoted sister-in-law Emma Jean (Elijah) Kelly and one devoted brother-in-law Mitchell Hall; a host of other relatives and friends.
