Gwendolyn A. Robinson Napier affectionately known by family
and friends as

“Gwen” was born September 26, 1960. She was a
native of Prichard, Alabama. She sadly passed away into the Lord’s

hands on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Gwen was a joyful person who loved to make people laugh. She
enjoyed going to church and being a grandmother to her grandkids.
She loved talking smack and always telling people

“I ama gator baby”. She was so strong, just because she
’s no longer here doesn’t mean she lost her fight. Gwen ’s presence will be missed by all who
knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce S. Napier, Sr.; her
daughter, Seantel R. Brye; and her beloved grandmother, Josephine
Robinson.
Gwen leaves to cherish her precious memories to her mother, Millie
Lee King; two sons: Bruce S. Napier, Jr. and Christopher Napier; a
daughter, Janai Napier; five sisters: Sylvia McCaskill, Sandra
Winchester, Diane (Elmore) Alexander, Josephine (Herbert) Bracy,
Angela (Charlie) Taylor; a brother, Gary King; her grandchildren:
Dewonna Tubbs, Kenisha Gilmore, Bruce S. Napier, III, Cardae
Knight, Jaivyn Fields, Asia Craig, Byronn Brye, Jr., Jakaleb Fields,
Jabori Fields, Christopher Napier, Jr. and Peyton Knight; two great
-
grandsons; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives and friends; a loving and caring former daughter-in-law,
Kenyetta Gilmore; and close friend, Mary D. Robinson.
