Gwendolyn Williams was born February 13, 1957, in Mobile AL. She was one of five children. She exchanged this life for eternal life on Wednesday July 25, 2018.
Gwendolyn has always had a love for Christ and displayed deep faithfulness to the Church at an early age. She was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Lloyd Station for many years. As a member of Morning Star, she devotedly served as an usher and as a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Cody Williams, Jr. and Hazel Lipscomb Williams. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory one son: Rashad DeChauncey Williams; two sisters: Jacquelyn Kilpatrick and Andrea Williams (Christopher) Ray; one brother: Darryl Williams; and one nephew: Darrian Williams.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3950 Lloyd Station Road, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Morning Star Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
