Obituary for Hazel Lorraine Wiggins

Hazel Lorraine Bonner Wiggins, age 67, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Hazel was born December 18, 1952 in Mobile, Alabama to Almeda Pettaway Bonner and John Griffin Bonner.
Hazel was a devoted educator and retired from the Mobile County School Board after 35 years of dedicated service to education.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Lester Wiggins; son, Byron Evans (Tabitha); step-children, Kelvin Wiggins, D'Andre Jenkins, Lester Wiggins, Jr., and Jevon Wigcox; grandchild, Jasmine Evans; brothers, Herschell Wilson (Michele), John Bonner (Tina), and Frederick Bonner (Daisy); sisters, Thalia Smiley (Willie) and Rhonda Wynn; brother-in-law, Jack Gay; sister-in-law, Gloria Wilson; Devoted friends, Jessica York, Brenda McCants, Marva Carter and Sandra Cowan; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Hazel was preceded in death by her father, John Griffin Bonner; mother, Almeda Pettaway Bonner; brother, Reginald Wilson; sisters, Clara Webb, Irene Gay, and Donna Brown(Harold).
