Obituary for Ida Mae Boyd
Ms. Ida Mae Boyd was born July 7, 1937 in Orville AL. She did pass peacefully at her home on June 24, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Boyd as well as her son, Willie Gardner.
Ms Boyd was a joy to be around, and she always had a family story to tell to keep us all laughing.
Ida Mae Boyd is survived by three sons, Freddie (Diane) Boyd of Mobile AL, John (Cynthia)Boyd of Texas, Charles William of Florida; and two daughters, Linda Dyess of Mobile, AL and Brenda Williams of Detroit, three granddaughters, Latrice Dyess, Lakeisha Dyess and Jasmine Dinkins; grandson, Alex (Melissa) Boyd of Texas; loving sister, Susan Williams; devoted niece, Isabella White; and a host of great grandchildren.
