Obituary for Isiah Perry Jr.

Mr. Isiah (Hoke – Baby Boy) Perry, Jr. was born on June 21, 1951 in Theodore, Alabama to the union of Isiah Perry, Sr. and Mattie Kyles Perry.

Hoke attended St. Elmo and Theodore High Schools. He confessed Christ at an early age and love serving and praising God at many churches. Isiah had many talents such as working as a welder at Bender Shipyard and at J. T. Graham & Son.

His busy life came to a close on February 18, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary.

Baby Boy was predeceased in death by his parents, Isiah Perry, Sr., and Mattie Perry (Clinton) Jackson.

Isiah leaves to cherish his precious memories: three children, Doris Perry, Christopher Perry and Shawn Thompson all of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren, Zylexus, John, Marcus and Ross all of Mobile, AL; three sisters, Pinkie Perry, Gloria P. Casher, both of Theodore, AL and Sharon Perry of Mobile, AL; one brother, Matthew (Janice) Perry of Jackson, MS; stepmother, Annie Perry of Theodore, AL; two stepbrothers, Marvin Henry and and Charlie James (Bettye) Davis of Mobile, AL; four aunts, Nancy K. Blackmon, Annie D. Perry, Ethel Perry, Savannah Perry all of Theodore, AL; five uncles, Walter Kyles, Oscar (Creola) Kyles, all of Theodore, James Perry of Mobile, AL, Samuel L. (Marie) Perry of Marietta, GA and Willie (Rose Mary) Perry of Pensacola, FL. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
