James "Sonny Boy" Cola Anderson Jr. beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Exchanged this life for eternity on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 8:32AM. Brother James Anderson confessed Christ at an early age and served in numerous churches as he moved throughout the country.
James was the eldest son born to the union of James Cola Anderson Sr. and Emma Hicks Anderson on September 21,1946 in North Hampton, North Carolina. James was educated in the Hereford County Public Schools Systems. After leaving home at the age of 18 years old James (Sonny Boy) traveled to New York to operate several businesses and hold numerous occupations. James eventually became a skilled diesel mechanic with International Harvester in Amarillo , Tx which led him to move to Mobile, Al in the late 70’s. James eventually own several businesses in Mobile, Al and Hueytown, Al until his retirement.
James was preceded in death by his parents James Cola Anderson, Sr. and Emma Hicks Anderson and his youngest brother, Larry Anderson.
James was a devoted father who leaves to cherish his memories three sons Stephen O’Neal Anderson, Bradley Justin Anderson Sr, and Alexander James Anderson all of Mobile, Al., friend and former wife Stephanie S ..Anderson and one grandchild whom he loved dearly Master Bradley Justin Anderson Jr. (Mobile, Al)
James also leaves to cherish his memories three sisters Shirley M. Cashwell , Brooklyn, NY

Three brothers Leon (Carolyn) Anderson Murfreesboro, NC , Charles (Estella)Anderson, Long Island ,NY and Michael (Sylvia) Anderson , Murfreesboro, NC. A special Aunt, Lucille Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. and friends.
