Obituary for James Parker

James Orby Parker was a native of Pinehill, AL. And a long time resident of Mobile, AL. He passed on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He leaves to cherish his precious memories a devoted wife, Queen Parker; five children, Carnell (Patricia) Parker, one very devoted Lamont (Ruby) Parker, Adrian (Elizabeth) Parker, LaShaunda (Warren) Jones all of Mobile, AL. And Katrina Varner of Theodore, AL.; one sister Peggie Parker; four sisters-in-law, Annie Howard, Beatrice Merrida both of Mobile, AL., Laura Merrida of Atlanta, GA., and Lina Howard of Mobile, AL. Four brothers-in-law, Sherman McFadden, Sylvester Scott Sr. and Will (Melvina) English; eight grandchildren; four devoted friends, Bernard Haygood, Larry Collins, Joseph Wiley and William Meiggs. A host of nieces and nephews, one devoted Ricky Shamburger. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m and on Saturday, January 30, 2010 after 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL.
