Obituary for Jeannette W Driscoll (Winchester)

Jeannette Winchester Driscoll was born
May 18, 1939 to the union of Ulysses and
Priscilla Winchester in Chunchula, AL.
Jeannette was a graduate of Mobile County
Training School. After high school she moved
to New York City, NY. While there she
obtained a business degree, and got a job at
Bellsouth as a phone operator with whom she
retired from.

After several years of living in New York, she returned to Mobile,
AL. After a brief she started a family. Her job transferred her to
Birmingham, AL where she resided at until retirement. After
retiring from the phone company, she moved back to Mobile, AL,
her beloved home town where she was a long-term residence of
until the Lord called her home. Her hobbies included: watching her
favorite news channels, soap opera, sewing and crocheting.
Jeannette was a faithful long-term member of St. James Major
Catholic Church where she served in the Prichard Drexel Society
and Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. Peter Claver Court 172.
On Monday, December 18, 2023 the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
called her home. She was preceded in death by, her mother, Priscilla
Winchester; and father, Ulysses Winchester Sr.; two brothers:
Ulysses (Chester) Winchester and Cecil Haynes.
Jeannette leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters:
Sheila Driscoll Johnson and Katrina Driscoll both of Mobile, AL; a
faithful cousins: Joyce Winchester and Kristina Robinson both of
Mobile, AL; a devoted friend/stylist, Erick Crenshaw of Mobile,
AL; a devoted friend, Joyce Robinson of Birmingham, AL; and a
host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
