Jerry Jones was born August 1, 1956 in Choctaw County, AL to Dewey and Willie Mae McElroy Jones. He graduated for Choctaw County High School in 1974. After graduating from high School, Jerry started working at the Alabama State Dock. On November 13, 1975, he married the love of his life, Ella Jones and they had three daughters, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, they raised together. Jerry was a strong and loving leader for his family. He provided well for his loving wife daughters. Jerry Jones is survived by his wife, Ella Jones; three daughters: Ulander Scott, Kesha Jones, Tonya Jones; four brothers; one sister, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral hour at Faith Tabernacle, 3708 Salem Drive, Eight Mile, AL. Internment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
