A Celebration of Life
Joann Wright Williams received her Angel wings on September 8, 2019. She was born on April 19, 1949 in Mobile, AL to the late Mr. & Mrs. Leroy (Arvilue) Wright, Sr. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church #2, where she faithfully served on the Senior Usher Board and as a member of the church choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Williams; brothers Walter (Lillie) Fantroy, Sr., LJ Wright Sr., Leroy Wright Jr. and Levi Wright Sr.; sisters Mildred Lewis Fleming, Rosie Mary Jackson, Dorothy Jones and Annie Lou (Willie) Coleman; Godparents CJ (Minnie) Cobb Sr.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, a beloved and devoted companion Bobby Lee Washington; Three devoted daughters Cynthia (Jarrell) Armour of Jacksonville, FL, Denise (Marlon) Maye and Andria Williams, both of Mobile, AL.; Ten grandchildren; Monica, Maurice, Carneisha, Jasmine, Kiana, Desirea, Jaylen, Jahleel, Nevaeh, Keigan and Jahlise; Three great-grandchildren; Paris, Londyn and Karter. Two devoted God-children; Cleveland Parker and Raven Huntington. Five brothers; Henry (Gail) Wright Sr., Leo Wright, Albert (Shantell) Wright, Rickey (Mary) Wright Sr. and Rudel Huff. Five sisters; Loretta (Harry) Lewis of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Maggie (Larry) Taylor, Geneva (Anthony) White, Juanita Kidd and Lisa Turner; One special sister/niece, Patricia Huntington. Two Brother-in-law; Willie Williams and Walter (Marilyn) Williams. Four sisters-in-law; Alfreda Williams, Katrina Wright, Love Wright and Elizabeth Lucy Wright; Two special nieces; Joyce Ann Lynch and Elizabeth A Wright. Two devoted friends; Shelley Webb and Shirley Snell. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
