Obituary for John Williams Jr.

John Williams, Jr. was born as the eldest child to John Sr. & Juanita Williams on September 26, 1955.
John was a United States Army veteran and longtime resident of Axis, AL.
At an early age, he was given the nickname “Jimmy Cricket” and it has stuck with him through the years. “Cricket”, as he was affectionately known was well known and loved by many in his community and abroad. Furthermore, Cricket never met a stranger, it only took one encounter and you would remember him, likewise he would remember you for a lifetime. He enjoyed many things in life such as fixing cars, catching and cooking fish and coon.
He is proceeded in death by many, to name a few his beloved grandparents Wash & Paralee Jenkins, Ike & Peggy Brown, parents John Sr. & Juanita Williams and sister Karen “Biddy” Todd.
Cricket’s sudden passing leaves many love ones behind including siblings: Gloria Jean Williams of Chickasaw, AL, Yolanda Safford of Balch Springs, TX, Rhonda (Joseph Sr.) Stewart of Satsuma, AL, Brian (Toni) Williams of Mesquite, TX, Denise Mixon of Pensacola, FL and Steven (Minnie, devoted sister-in-law) Bell of Axis, AL. 5 aunts, Eliza Myers of Moss Point, MS, Pearl Wells of Pascagoula, MS, Linda (Richard) Lang Gulfport, MS, Meta (Jack) Yielder of Sunflower, AL, Dorothy Beamon, San Jose California and 1 uncle, Earl Sr. (Lisa) Brown of Gautier, MS, 11 nephews, 12 nieces and a host of great nephews and nieces, first cousins and friends to moan his passing.
