Obituary for Johnnie Emanuel Williams Sr.

Johnnie Emanuel Williams Sr., a native of Sulligent, AL and a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL Johnnie was born on January 08, 1940, to the union of the late James Williams and Dora Williams. He accepted Christ at an early age and later in life attended the Third Baptist Church in Whistler, AL He attended Harper High School in Jackson, AL. Johnnie served in the United States Army from 1963-1971. He was honorably discharge from the US. Army. Johnnie Emanuel Williams Sr departed this earthly life on July 31, 2022, at Biloxi Veterans Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son David and grandson Tony; six brothers, (Woodrow, Riley, James Jr., Wilbur, Earl, Isaac}, and two sisters, {Shirley and Betty).

He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife Thelma Williams, two devoted sons Johnnie Jr. (Franshea) Williams, Javoris, two devoted daughters Tynita (Joseph) Stallworth, Ajia, one stepson Johnnie (Regina) Williams, one devoted sister Omega Cook, one devoted niece Adrian Parker; motherĀ­in-law Jellene Norwood, five sisters-in-laws Barbara (Jeffrey) Smith, Benita (Johnny) Archard, Rosie (Elder Guy) Hudson, Irma (Robert) Smith, Carolyn Norwood, one brother-in-law Clifford (Betty) Norwood. One devoted friend Mark Williams. A host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
