Brother Joseph Warren Lee, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, Alabama ended his earthly journey on Saturday, February 20, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary English Lee and brother, Jesse Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Dorothy Thompson Lee; two daughters, Linda (Bobby) Dennison and Jacqueline Lee of Mobile, AL; four sons, Joseph (Janice) Lee of Chesapeake, VA, Fred Lee, Stanley (Barbara) Lee and Jeffrey (Daphne) Lee of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Thomas (Barbara) Lee and Rev. David A. (Betty) Lee of Daphne, AL; a sister-in-law, Evelyn T. Jones of Dorchester, MA; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9am until the 12 noon funeral hour at St. Stephen AME Church, 2707 Josephine St. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
