Obituary for Kayleigh Marie Lacey

Kayleigh Marie Lacey was born on a spring-like day Wednesday, March 7, 2018, the average temperature was 60 degrees and the skies were clear, to loving and proud parents Jasmine Nakia Lacey and Cedric D’Wight Dade. In the late afternoon hours of Sunday, September 15, 2019, our Sweet little baby Kayleigh accepted her Angel Wings and her little head was adorned an angelic halo, and at that moment she returned to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although her life here was all too short she made an impact that will never be forgotten. Kayleigh’s infectious laughter and impish smile could light up a room and leave those in her orbit filled with joy. Baby Kayleigh was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother Diane Deloris Lacey Roland, who must have been ecstatic after they were reunited somewhere up there around the throne.

Our baby Kayleigh leaves behind to cherish her memories and her infectious laughter a wonderful and devoted mother Jasmine Lacey and an awesome and doting father Cedric Dade, sweet little Kayleigh was the apple of her parents' eyes. She leaves behind three loving and devoted grandmothers Petrina Lacey and Tabitha Boyd of Mobile, Alabama and Erica Peck-Love of Tuscaloosa, Alabama they will never be the same after her departure from this earthly planet. A devoted and doting grandfather, Shon Peck Love of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and a great-grandfather Ronnie Heard of Mobile, Alabama. Three caring and nurturing aunts; Nasia Pope and Sincere Pope of Mobile, Alabama and Paisley Peck-Love of Tuscaloosa, Alabama One uncle Brooklyn Peck-Love whom she lovingly referred to as (Uncle Boo) of Tuscaloosa, Al. Kayleigh also leaves behind several great-aunts, a host of cousins and other relatives too numerous to name. Kayleigh was a happy baby that was very entertaining to watch. Kayleigh gave us a lifetime of memories and love during her short stint here on earth. Although we all loved our little Miss Kayleigh Marie it is no mystery that God loved her best and called her back to heaven for her eternal rest.
