Kenneth Anthony Jones, Sr, born February 25, 1953, in Mobile, AL. A lifelong of resident of Mobile, AL, departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2022. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Jones and Rose Marie Jones, grandparents Lena McCanty and Abraham Brantley, one sister Carolyn Ezell.
Kenneth was a 1971 graduate of Toulminville High school where he served in the ROTC and on the football team.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Sandra D. Jones of Mobile, AL. Two devoted sons: Kenneth Anthony Jones, Jr of Eight mile, AL and Korey Jones of Mobile, AL. Three brothers: William H. Smith, Jr, Representative Samuel L. Jones and Francee Jones, all of Mobile, AL. Three sisters: Rose Hill Williams, Gloria Jones Sterling and Beverly (Willie) Williams all of Mobile, AL. Eight sisters in law : Janice Muse and Evelyn Johnson, both of Eight Mile, AL; Andretta (Milton) McCovey Mobile, AL; Miriam Washington, Loretta Watson and Jonica (Terrance) Bettis, all of Eight Mile, AL and Connie (Donald) Basemore, Mobile, AL. Six brothers in law: Marion (Carolyn) Watson, St. Louis, MO; Gene Watson, Donald (Linda) Watson, both of Mobile, AL; Cleveland Watson, Decatur, GA; Dennis (Shaundra) Watson, Covington, GA and Michael (LaTasha) Watson, Monclair, NJ. A host of family, friends and loving nieces and nephews, three devoted: Sonya Hill Williams, Roderick Williams and Donald Sterling, Jr.
