Obituary for LaBarry Hinton

LaBarry Hinton was born on September 15, 1965 in Daphne, Alabama to Mr. Alonzo and Ruby Hinton. He exchanged this life for eternal peace on Friday, December 13, 2019 in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

LaBarry, or as many know him as Wop or Paw-Paw, was a unique individual with a strong gift of smack talk and humor. But, at his core, he was a hard worker. He worked for many years at Standard Furniture Company in Bay Minette, Alabama. Prior to his health decline, he spent time working at Everwood Treatment Company in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

LaBarry loved to watch wrestling and football. There was not a Monday night that you did not catch him tuned in to WWE on USA. When the time came for football, he heavily supported and rooted for the Pittsburg Steelers, win or lose and rain or shine. Most importantly, LaBarry loved his family. Although he never married, that was not a testament to the love he had for his mom and two sisters.

LaBarry was the youngest of three children. He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo Hinton. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Ruby Hinton of Spanish Fort, Alabama; two sisters Charlene Dixon (Ray Dixon) of Mobile, Alabama, and Cynthia Smith (Lavan Smith Jr.) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; four nieces Norleisha Lewis (Brandon Lewis) of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Tiffany Hinton of Robertsdale, Alabama, Stephanie Lyons, and Charnell Lyons of Mobile, Alabama; four great-nephews, and two great-nieces; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

We would like to thank the Family of LaBarry Hinton for entrusting us with the Final and most sacred arrangements of their loved one.
