Obituary for Larnell Arnold (Howard)

Larnell Howard Arnold, affectionately known as “Miss Laura” a native of Mobile,AL,born March 28, 1953 departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at a local hospital. She was a loving member of Grace Redemption Community Church; served as a member of the Pastor’s Aide Committee and assisted in the Food Ministry. Larnell loved singing and praising God. She had exceptional organizational skills and creative spirit including making wreaths, baskets, interior design, wedding coordinator etc, she retired as a Beautician.
Larnell was preceded in death by her late husband Lovell Bennett Sr. mother-Freddie Richardson Lafitte, father-Bubber Howard, four brothers, General Lafitte, Lenova Dinkins, Antonio Dinkins, and Sterling Coleman Jr., two sisters, Ethel White and Eleanor Smoke.
Larnell leaves to cherish precious memories to her three loving children, son-Lovell Howard (Ammie) of Mobile,AL, daughter- Geralyn (Stanley) Bennett-Carter and son-Jerry (Keisha) Bennett of San Antonio,TX. Fourteen (14) grandchildren, Marcél Williams of SC, one devoted Janae Williams, Antonio Kirksey, Dontiay Howard, Tyrell Kirksey, Trezmond Howard, Chassidy Howard of Mobile,AL, Brittney Bennett, Lee Bennett, Gesalyn Bennett, Adrianna Robinson, Cheyanne Robinson, Jazlin Bennett, and Jerry Bennett Jr all of San Antonio,TX. Eighteen(18) great grandchildren with one expected Genesis Indigo Bennett. Sisters Angelina Steward, Melinda Howard, Gigi Howard, Patricia Mason, Helen (Darold) Whitfield all of Mobile, AL.,and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, devoted niece Phayla Powell, devoted friend Beverly Curtis, and devoted Godchild Hermancey Pugh.
