Obituary for Larry Bernard Burrell

Larry Burrell was born on June 20, 1954 in Mobile, AL to Vaeltena Johnson and Lager (George
Edward) Allen, Sr. He exchanged this life for eternity on November 14, 2018 peacefully at his home in
Mobile. Larry accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from Lillie B. Williamson High School in
Mobile, AL and went on to serve in the United States Army. He was employed at the City of Mobile for 17
years.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lager (George Edward) Allen, Sr.,sister Debra Ann
Burrell, brother Charles Jackson, Jr., niece Ivory Jackson and great nephew Demarrius Jackson.
He
leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Cassandra Pompey-Burrell. Four
loving children: Rev. Fernando (Janet) Smith, Sr.| Durrell (Johneshia) Burrell | Dynell Burrell| Alice
