Lasonia Ford McCaskill was born January 1, 27, 1978 and departed this life on December 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly F. Nettles, grandparents, Robert Ford, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted husband, Dennis McCaskill; a loving father, Rev. Charles Nettles; four daughters, Courtney, Stephanie, LaQuinda and Carla; three sisters, Yolanda Lucas, Chywana Hunter and Lynn Ford; one brother, Enoch Ford; six aunts; one uncle; twenty-seven grandkids; one godchild; three devoted friends; a host of other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9am until the 10:30am funeral hour at Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1012 Adam St. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
