SISTER LAURA LEE HARRIS - was born on February 10, 1940 in Marengo County, Alabama. A resident of Theodore, Alabama for a number of years, she departed this life on April 26, 2009 at a local hospital. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, and a devoted cousin. She leaves to cherish her memories: 4 devoted children, one daughter, Darlene Harris, Theodore, Alabama and three sons, Richard Harris, Tony Harris, Theodore, Alabama, and Stanley (Dolores) Harris, Mobile, Alabama; a devoted mother and step-father, Robirder (Eddie) Payne, Theodore, Alabama; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one aunt; one uncle; 2 God-children; 2 step-brothers; 1 step-sister; 1 devoted cousin; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held at Small's Mortuary (Theodore) on Friday, May 1, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 2, 2009 after 2:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. funeral hour at the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 5201 Washington Blvd., Theodore, Alabama, 36582, Rev. Howard L. Nelson, Sr., Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 7000 Bellingrath Rd., Theodore, Alabama.
