Obituary for Lee Arthur Sanders

Lee Arthur Sanders was born on July 31, 1957 in Selma,
Alabama to the union of Fred and Lovelena Sanders. Lee made
his transition from life into eternal rest on Sunday, July 10, 2022.
Lee accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in
Jesus name at Apostolic Church of God in Mobile, AL where he
attended.
He was a truck driver for Bayou Concrete for twenty plus years
before moving on to Ammons & Blackmon Construction in
Spanish Fort, AL.
Lee was a soft spoken, laid back, loving husband, and devoted
father. He enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his
family. He was an avid outdoorsman who had a love for hunting.
There was no task too big or too small that he could not
accomplish. He was admired and loved by so many people and
wherever he went, he never met a stranger he would not befriend
along the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lovelena
Sanders; sister, Lorrine Mims; and brother, Sammie Sanders, Sr.
Lee leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of
thirty-five years, Katherine Sanders; two daughters: Tiffany

(Gerardo) Henriquez and LeAnna Sanders to cherish the love-
filled memories made together; one aunt, Annie Daniels; four

sisters: Annie Pearl Benson, Bertha (Charles) York, Mary
(Donald Washam) Sanders and Hessie (Robert) Reid; four
brothers: Fred (Lillie) Sanders, Frank (Doris) Sanders and
Mitchell Sanders; one brother-in-law, Roscoe (Mary) Marzett;
two sisters in-law: Nellie James and Lanice (Stephen) Shaw; a
host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins,
other relatives and close friends.
