Leroy Anderson - A native of Lower Peachtree, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL was born December 28, 1923 and departed this life on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at a local hospital. He was a retired employee of Alabama Dry Dock and Shipbuilders. He leaves to cherish his precious memory a devoted wife of 24 years, Mary S. Anderson-Mobile, AL; seven children, Carol Anderson Hillsman of Chicago, IL, Joe Ruffin of Baton Rogue, LA, Brenda Anderson-Johnson, of Atlanta, GA, Dara Gail Anderson of Mobile, AL, Tony Anderson of San Jose, CA, Ronnie Anderson of Virginia Beach, VA; eight Step children; eleven grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law, and host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The body will lie in state on Tuesday November 17, 2009 from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 PM funeral hours at Small's Mortuary Chapel 950 S.
