Leslie R. Valrie Jr.-- a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Elvaston, IL., born October 9, 1939 departed this life Tuesday, June 3, 2008. He graduated in 1958 from Baldwin County Training School, Daphne, AL. He specialized in auto mechanic work, and loved many other occupational projects. He leaves to cherish his memories nine children, Ronnie McCovery, Fairhope, Leslie R. Valrie III and Carla King, both of Birmingham, Paula Valrie, Mobile, Jennifer Valrie, Bay Minette, Anita Banks and Wanda Valrie, both of Chicago, IL., Nathaniel Valrie, GA., Vanessa Williams, OH. and Regina Johnson, Daphne, AL., a devoted sister, Geneva Carter, Montrose, a host of grands, great-grands, foster brother, Jessie Nichols, Mobile, AL nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends one devoted Ernestine Cole, Elvaston, IL.
