Obituary for Lester Wayne Bell

LESTER WAYNE BELL, SR., was born April 14, 1954 to the late Ola Mae Bell. In 1972 Lester graduated from Satsuma High School and furthered his studies at Faulkner State. He was employed by Courtaulds Fibers for 26 years. In 1982 Lester married Agnes Pugh-Bell where they made their home in Axis, Alabama. He transitioned into the arms of Jesus on October 25, 2018. After pastoring two churches, Lester followed the call of God and in 1996 founded New Beginning Christian Church of Creola, AL developing disciples of Christ for 22 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving, devoted, caring, and spoiled wife, Lady Agnes Bell of 36 years of holy matrimony. He also leaves to cherish his memories four beautiful and caring children: Dana (Montae) Whittaker, Sr., of Saraland, AL; Kyla (Gary) Jackson, Sr., of Mobile, AL; Miya “Babygirl” Bell of Saraland, AL; and Lester (Pilar) Bell, Jr., of Chickasaw, AL; 11 grandchildren with one preceding him in death; one great granddaughter; three brothers with one preceding him in death; three sisters; a host of brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, God-children, church members, and friends.
