Obituary for Loretta P. Hardy (Powell)
Ms. Loretta Hardy traded her earthy life for heaven on the morning of August 8, 2023. Loretta was born to the union of Grant & Mary Powell in Gosport, Al. She lived a long fulling life and was most known for her loving heart and kindness. Loretta opened her home to family and friends in times of fellowship, celebration or in times of need. She was an excellent cook and welcomed all who came to her door.
She was preceded in death by five children, James Franks, Mary Powell, Mamie Hardy, Sammie Powell and Shirley Lucy; to which she will be reunited in the spirit.
She leaves to to cherish her most precious memories to her children Robert (Tina) Hardy, Aubrey (Megan) Hardy, Nathan Hardy, Kathy Hardy and Aretha Hardy. Along with 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends who loved her.
