Obituary for Lotourette Jackson

On April 10th, 2024, enveloped in the embrace of her loved ones we lost our beloved LoTourette Jackson. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.“

LoTourette graced this world in Mobile, Alabama, born to her dear mother LeConya Jackson (preceded in death). Her life was a vibrant tapestry, enriched by her roles as a devoted Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. Of all the roles being grandmother is what she cherished the most. Her infectious spirit ensured that every moment in her company was brimming with joy and laughter. LoTourette graduated from Davidson High School in 1977 and honed in on her talents as a licensed childcare professional.

She leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by her Son Frederick (Topaz) Jackson of Los Angeles, CA, her Daughter LeConyea (Keldrick) Jones of Mobile, AL, and her adoring Grandchildren Jazmine, Sergio, Ser’kiya, Ser’Maruies, Jade, Frederick Jr., and Onyx. LoTourette will forever be remembered by her devoted siblings Bruce (Linda) Jackson, Levorn Jackson, and Taffiny Lewis, and her devoted Sister Cynthia Darlene Caffey; as well as her beloved nieces and nephews: Shantel Jackson , Kisha Jackson, Tiffany Lewis, Trevion Lewis, and Bruce Jackson, Jr. ; devoted Nieces Tisha Jackson
and Danielle Bendolph, devoted Nephews Tony Jones, Reginald (Jamie) Jones and Christopher Edwards.

She also leaves behind a cherished Uncle: Dina (Katin) Jackson, a devoted Cousin Norris Jackson, and a devoted friend Diane James, and a host of other great Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

LoTourette now reunites in eternal peace with her Grandson KenKen Jackson, her Grandmother O.C. Jackson, her Brother Farrah Jackson, her Sister Tiffany Rogers, Cousins: Johnny Boy, Tyrone, Conrad and Victor Jackson; as well as her Aunts Joan and Billy Jackson. Though she may have departed from our physical embrace, LoTourette’s spirit and love will continue to resonate in our hearts forever.

In honor of LoTourette’s remarkable life, let us celebrate the joy she brought and the memories she gifted us.
