Obituary for Lucille Stanton

Lucille Holloway Stanton - was summoned to eternal rest on Friday April 20, 2007. She was born October 26, 1942, the oldest child of Ruby Holloway and the late George Holloway, Sr. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Harvey Lee Holloway. Cherishing her fondest memories are seven loving children; Donald (Mary-Ann) Stanton, Janice (Hezekiah) Mason, Jr, Bobby Charles Stanton, Dorothy (Johnnie Johnson) Stevens, Marcille Stanton-Dale, Rayfield Stanton, Tyrone Stanton, and Alexis Harris, all of Daphne, AL. 38 grand children; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katie Stewart, Tampa, FL and Sarah Holloway, Daphne, AL; 2 brothers, Danny Holloway & George Holloway, Jr, Daphne AL; 2 aunts, Ida Green, Mobile, AL and Earline Perdue, Stafford, FL; grandmother, Ruthie M Elliott, Evergreen, AL; one sister-in-law, Bell Holloway, Daphne, AL; 3 brother- in- laws, Edward Stanton, Houston, TX, Johnnie (Ester) Stanton and James (Anita) Bolden, Daphne, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & many friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, April 27, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday April 28, 2007 after 9am at Africian Universal Church, Daphne until the 11am funeral hour.
