Obituary for Lucille Denise West (Rudolph)

Mrs. Lucille Denise Rudolph West, affectionately and preferably called Denise is a native of Loxley, Alabama. She was a life-long resident of Mobile, Alabama, who departed this life suddenly to enter into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. William L. Rudolph, Sr. and Mrs. Eva L. Rudolph, and one brother Mr. Jimmy Mims.She was born January 5, 1972, as the only girl and the youngest to five brothers. She graduated from Ben C. Rain High School on June 10, 1991. Having a passion and love to help and care for people, she enrolled at Bishop State Community College to obtain her nursing degree. In August 1998, she received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree. Furthering her skills and devotion to nursing, she obtained her Associate degree in Applied Science in Nursing in August 2008. Wanting to achieve her lifelong dream, she fulfilled that quest May 1, 2009, by becoming a Registered Nurse. As a nurse, she worked in several places to include convalescent facilities, assisted living homes, in-home health care, and correctional facilities. For over thirteen years, she was an active member of Nazaree Full Gospel church before her illness and remained a dedicated member until her passing. She is survived by and leaves to cherish fond memories of her devoted husband, Wendell West. Four children, Rosetta(Timothy) King, Rashad West (Brittany), Reginald West, Raylan West; Two grandchildren, Timothy King Jr., Kobe King, all of Mobile, AL. Five brothers, Carl Harrington, of Mobile, AL, William Rudolph Jr., of Texas, James Rudolph, of Mobile, AL, John (Daphne) Rudolph, of Montgomery, AL; Two uncles, Larry and John D. Rudolph; Two nephews, Carlos Smith, Carlen Miller, both of Mobile, AL; Eight nieces, Holly Smith of Mobile, AL, Natasha Gray, Raven Harris, both of Mobile, AL, Toni Freeman of Montgomery, AL, Samantha Harris of Mobile, AL, Ieisha Rudolph of Chicago, IL, Eva Rudolph of Mobile, AL, Terryka Freeman of Montgomery, AL, and a host of cousins,
relatives, and friends.
