Ms. Lula Bell was a mother figure to me whom I loved so very dearly. Every since I was a young teenager when I dated her baby Johnny Boy (my first love) who died many years ago, she treated me with love and as her very own daughter. She was a fascinating and captivating woman who you can literally sit and listen to for hours. You could definitely count on her to tell you the truth about things without hesitation. She was so kind and loving to everyone she came in contact with, truly a heart of gold. Ms. Lula Bell, darling, I love you and will cherish your memory. To the entire family, I love you all and may our God comfort you with His everlasting peace! 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️

Sincerely,
Geralyn Bennett aka Peaches

Dear Annett and Darleen and the entire Stegall family,
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I know how close you all were, and that this is a difficult time for you. Please know that you have my support and sympathy.
I remember Aunt Lula Bell fondly from when we were kids. Summers meant my mom would visit her on weekends and of course we got to tag along. We all enjoy being around her – she was so full of life and laugher and she always welcomed the Thomas’s with open arms. She never complained about how many of us came to visit. She always had that beautiful smile 😊
I know that she meant the world to you all and a lot to so many. Continue to remember all the wonderful memories they are treasures that you will always hold close. I know you will miss her.
May God be with you during this time and always,
Elnoria Thomas
