Obituary for Lynette Stevenson (Turner)

Sister Lynette Turner Stevenson, a kind and affectionate loving spirit transcended to Glory on September 23, 2018. A native and lifetime resident of Mobile Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jessie and Mattie Turner; a devoted great-aunt, Viola R. Rowe and two devoted aunts: Ann Larkins, and Junia F. White; a devoted uncle, Dwight D. Turner; adopted father, Sheadrick Stevenson; paternal father, Alex Fuller.
Lynette confessed Christ at an early age joining Revelation Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. N. J. Matthews. She served in the Matrons and Mission department. And she sang in the choir from her youth until her health begin to failed.
A 1972 graduate of Williamson High School, she went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Alabama State University in 1977. She later when on to receive a degree from Virginia College in medical coding. She retired from the Taylor’s Kindercare after twenty-three years for service.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a devoted mother, Jessie M. Cox; a devoted brother, Sheadrick David (Carol) Stevenson. A brother, Rapheal Stephens; one devoted niece, Kayla Stevenson; two devoted aunts: Lillie Turner, Helen (Beauford) Blackmon. Aunts: Mary L. Fuller, Altheia Barners, and Minnie Pettaway; two great aunts: Sister Anne Pear Shack and Ethel Turner. A host of devoted cousins, relatives and friends.
Sister Lynette T. Stevenson loved the Lord and her family with her whole heart and is now singing in God’s heavenly choir. “Goin’ Up Yonder”
