Obituary for Mable Odessa Lyde
Sis. Mable Lyde was born to the late Alexander and Ida Moore on October 31, 1921. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Prichard, Alabama at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Sis. Mable was preceded in death by her children, Johnny Lyde III, Gwendolyn L. Westry, Larry Lyde, Peggy L. Turner and Ronnie Lyde; grandsons, Michael Westry and Eldrick Davis Lyde.
Sis Mable accepted Christ at an early age and continued serving the Lord as a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Leophus Lyde, daughter, Sophia L. Ranzy and son-in-law, Eddie M. Westry, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren,nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
