Obituary for Mamie Ree Irby (Williams)
Mamie Irby, a native of Camden was a welcomed addition to her parents Virginia Sellers and Glen Hunter on September 4, 1943. She was baptized at Shady Grove MB Church, Millers Ferry, AL.
Later in her life Mamie, relocated to Mobile, AL. and united with Revelation MB Church under the leadership of their late Pastor, Pastor Leon Taylor. Then in 2018, She moved her membership to Macedonia Baptist Church, Daphne, AL, under the leadership of the current Pastor, Reverend Charles Jackson. She attended worship faithfully until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Sisters, Mattie Williams, Mary E. King, and Geraldine Parham-Smith. A nephew, Joe Williams, California and a niece, Diane Williams, Illinois.
She leaves to cherish her beloved memories, a host of devoted nephews and nieces. Jeanetta Williams-Pratcher, Eugene Williams, Joanne, Williams, ShellyAnn King, Frances King-Hunter, Francine King, James King, Jr., Carolyn Fountain, Gayle Moore, and Kathy Parham. A host of other loving family members, neighbors, extended family, and friends.
