Obituary for Margarete Jones (Manzy)
Margarete Manzy Jones was born October 11, 1935 to Arlene Stewart Prince and Will Prince in Camden, Alabama.
At an early age Margarete confessed Christ and has been walking with the Lord ever since.
Upon leaving Alabama she worked at General Motors in Muncie, IN for many years. After receiving her daughter, Misha she then moved to St. Louis, MO to be closer to her brothers: Sam and John Manzy.
Afterward she moved back to Mobile, AL to be closer to her sisters: Ida Manzy and Emma Brock. In Mobile, AL she raised her daughter, Misha and worked for the Foster Grandparent Program where she mentored and tutored youth in the community.
Margarete was called by God and His Angels on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by both parents, Arlene and Will Prince; two brothers: Samuel Manzy and Frank Manzy; two sisters: Ida Manzie and Emma Manzy Brock.
Margarete leaves her precious memories to, one daughter, Misha Manzy of Laurel, MD; one brother, John Manzy of Las Vegas, NV; one aunt, Evelyn Stewart of Pensacola, FL; one brother-in-law, Peter Brock of Mobile, AL; special niece, Sharon (Karl) Carlton of Mobile, AL; special nephew, Timothy (Yolanda) Sneed of Sacshe, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
