Obituary for Marquies V Parker

Mr. Marquies Ventro Parker was a resident of Mobile, AL and was born October 24, 1978, to the parentage of Loretta Houston (Bennie Lee Houston Jr.) and Robert "Bob" Payne. Marquies entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Springhill Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert L. Payne Sr. and Charles Lester Parker; one aunt, Sandra Dantzler and one uncle, Randolph Parker.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving and devoted wife of 14 years, Gabrielle W. Parker, one daughter, Alexis Parker, and three sons, Marquies Parker Jr., Jordan Parker, and Cameron Lacey. Two grandmothers: Marie Parker (Mobile, AL) and Barbara J. Payne (Moss Point, MS); and one grandfather: Bennie Houston Sr. (Mobile, AL). He also leaves behind four sisters: Tiffany (Khannugue Sr.) Simpson, (Mobile, AL), Alexis Payne (Moss Point, MS), Temeisha Pruitt (Conyers, TX), and Ashley (Rardrecus) Addison (Mobile, AL) and one brother Brandon McAllister. Aunts, Emma Baptiste (Mobile, AL), Charlesetta Moses (Mobile, AL), Yvonne Robinson (Memphis TN), Marguerite Pettway (Mobile, AL), Kathy (Uche) Payne (New Orleans, LA), Karen (Eddie) Fountain and Barbara (Roger) Jenkins of Moss Point, M$. Mary (Ronnie) Magee (Richmond, TX), Robin Payne (Gulf Port, MS), Jemesia McDonald (Katy, TX), and Uncles Ray (Vernita) Parker (Mobile, AL), David (Faye) Payne (Grand Bay, AL ), Patrick (Renee) Payne and Brian (Deshena) Payne (Sacramento, CA). Marquies is also survived by his Mother-n-law, Cassandra (Aaron) Welch and four sister n laws, Erica Welch, Kimberly Welch, Audrey Welch, and Kayla Welch, all of Mobile, AL, and three brother-n-laws, Aaron (Nikki) Welch Jr., Ralph Simpson, DeMarco Simpson, all of Mobile, AL. A host of nieces, nephews, and many cousins will also cherish his memories.
Marquies was a 1997 graduate of Davidson High School of Mobile, AL. Shortly after graduating from high school, Marquies worked at Mobile Aerospace as an interior mechanic for several years before getting a trade in welding and started a career as a structural welder at Austal USA.
Marquies loved being with his family, he enjoyed traveling, most importantly, spending time with his loved ones. He also enjoyed fishing, watching football, and was a proud fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team.
