Obituary for Martha Louise Powe (McKay)

Martha Mckay Powe was born on December
11, 1946 to the late Felix Mckay and Theresa Abdalla.

She graduated from Most Pure Heart Of Mary in 1965, Mobile State Junior College in 1967, and Alabama State University in 1973.

She retired from Mobile Association for the Blind in 2012.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons Marc Anthony (Pamela) Powe, Kyle Kenneth Powe and one grandchild, Kyli Ian Powe. Three sisters, Rita (Donald) Baker, Pauline (Ralph III) Taylor, Mary Elizabeth (Prince) Powe. Five nephews, Ralph Taylor IV (Pamela), Reginald (Denvie) Taylor, Felix H. McKay, Brennan (Stacey) Powe and Kedric (Joan) Powe. Six nieces, Toni Derrickson, Janet Womack (Rod), Simone (Eric) Thomas, Donna (Darrell) Powe, Nia (Chris) Jones and Tameika Mckay. Two devoted cousins, Wanda (William) Robinson and Charles Miles Jr. Seven devoted friends, Velma Koen, Emma Jean Robinson, Bernard Snyder, Lynn Moss, Ronald Nero, Zina Edwards Carol Turner and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews.
