Mrs. Mary Walker Clements was a registered nurse who had a gift for serving others. She was loving, kind, and had a warm, caring personality . She dearly loved all of her family and close friends. She passed away April 30, 2020. She was preceded on death by her parents, Willie and Mamie Walker; brother, Austin Turner, Jr.; sisters, Azalean Walker, and Willie Mae Welch. She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Oscar Clements; two children, Charlesa Welch and Mikel Welch; one stepdaughter, Patricia Cleaver; one granddaughter, Chloe Dobbs? ;two sisters, Saddie Scott of Mobile, AL and Delores Warmack of Calument,IL; one brother, William Walker, Sr. of Mobile, AL; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Richard and Alice Clements of Chesapeake, VA; one brother-in-law, Richard Clements of Chesapeake, VA;one sister-in-law, Lendorna Maye of Paterson, New Jersey, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention and two devoted friends, Gloria Young and Linda Davis. Mrs. Mary Walker Clements will lie in state from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, May 9, 2020 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11am at Greater Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church, 800 Prichard Lane, Prichard, AL . Due to the current restrictions, funeral services will be private. Mrs. Mary Walker Clements will be laid to rest in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
