Mary “Joanne” Whigham was born October 9, 1951 to the late Freddie Menyfield, Sr. and Esther Menyfield of Prichard, Alabama. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald Menyfield and Freddie Menyfield, Jr. “Ricky”; and her oldest son, Calvin Charles Menyfield. Joanne leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons: Roderick “Ray” and Derrick “Big D” Whigham; three daughters: Ashley Hayes “the baby”, Yanique Menyfield (daughter-in-law) and Tanneshia Whigham (daughter-in-law); eight grandkids: Terry, Lameka, Calvin, Jr., Rickie, Kyle, Tyler, Olivia and Noah; five sisters: Dorothy, Suzette, Charlette, Betty and Robin; two sistersin-law: Cheryl and Barbara; two brothers: Jerry and Bernard; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends “too many to name them all.”
