Mattie Lee Aikens Grice was March 26, 1937 in Mobile, Alabama to Clarence and Mamie Aikens. She was a resident of Mobile, Alabama where she transitioned from this life to life eternal on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
Mattie was a graduate of County Public Training School in Plato, Alabama.
She preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Mamie Aikens and sister Florence Hollins.
She leaves to cherish her memories, 1 sister: Mittie Duncan of Selma, AL; 1 daughter: Lisa (WC) Wilkes; 2 sons: Donald (Liesa) Aikens of Atlanta, GA and Maurice (Janice) Aikens of Columbia, MS; 1 brother: Joseph Boone of Mobile, AL; 3 grandsons: Kenneth (Keri) Preston, Ken Russell of Florence, MS, and Donald Tai Aikens of Atlanta Georgia; 3 granddaughters: Brittany (James) Lenoir of Sumrall, MS, Lauren Aikens of Dallas, Texas, and Tracy Ward; 6 great-grandchildren: Kenneth Preston Jr. Kanzys Preston, Kaydence Preston, Macy Stone, Mason Ward, Carmen Lenoir, Mckinley Johnson, Kennington Russell, and Kaitlyn Russell, Saad Hospice Care, special caregiver Keri Zehner, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
