Michael Davis was a man of vision and perspective. He was the Executive Director of the Independent Living Center for almost thirty years. He served many people in the community with disabilities with Vigor. He also was the leader of the Davis Family Singers for many years. He loved traveling around the world singing gospel with his family. Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife, LaShanda Davis; eight siblings: Daniel (Cynthia) Davis, Samuel (Cynthia) Davis of Mobile, AL, Shirley Lester of Barstono, CA, Maelee Falco-Tate of Omaha, NE, Eliabeth (Jamal) Jones of Euless, TX, Thelma (Elisher) Williams of Birmingham, AL, and Tommie Lee (Sophea) Davis of Cleveland, OH; life-long friend, Brinkley Quinee; step-mother, Loretta Davis; fifty-one nieces and nephews; forty-nine great-nieces and nephews; cousins, other relatives; and a host of friends.
