Minnie Curtis Rodgers was born September 17, 1939, in Pushmataha, AL. She was born to the late Luther Curtis Sr. and Rannie Ruffin Rodgers. The gates opened Friday, January 24, 2020 and Heaven welcomed the sweet spirit of Minnie Curtis Rodgers. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sisters Bertha Curtis Daniel and Lillie Curtis and her brother Willis Curtis.

She was a long time resident of Mobile, Al where she worked until her retirement from Hillhaven Convalescent Home. She was a loving and soft spoken woman of God, who put her family first. She was a devoted member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church #1 where she served as a Matron in the church. Her life was about family and she was considered the matriarch of the family. Her wisdom, love and nurturing spirit will truly be missed.

She leaves six siblings to cherish her memories; Fannie Pearl Curtis, Detroit, MI; Inez Harris, Mobile, AL; Katherine Anderson, East St. Louis, IL; Maxine Curtis, Detroit, MI; Luther Curtis Jr., Mobile, AL; Lizzie Gennet Curtis, Detroit, MI.
She leaves her eight devoted children to cherish her memories, Terry Curtis, Francine (Glen) Perryman, Gregory (Cyndi) Rodgers, Gary Rodgers, Brenda Rodgers, Stephanie (Kenneth) Dees, Gerald (Lachan) Rodgers, Adrian Rodgers and a niece she nurtured into adulthood, Vanessa (Willie) Brundidge. She leaves nineteen grandchildren Salina, Tshemika, Kimberly (Andreius), Yolanda, Glen Jr. Stedman, Lacee, Gary Jr., Johnathan, Nickolas, Morgan, Jalen, Kayla, Joshua, Briauna, Allexus, Cameron, Kelsie, Cairo and four great grandchildren, Kendreius, Dreion, Amberly and Andreius II. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives and friends.
