Myrtle "Sugar Baby" Marks entered enternal peace on September 20, 2018 at her home in Mount Vernon, AL.
She was a retired registered nurse who had a generous heart and a gift of caring for others within and outside of the community.

Myrtle was born January 19, 1942, and was the first child of the late Strauter Marks, Sr. and Mattie Myrtle Marks.

She was preceded in death by her father, Strauter "Stridney" Marks, Sr. and her sister, Dorothy "Trudy"Johnson.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her only son, Walter "Little Sonny" Adams, III; mother, Mattie Myrtle Marks; sisters and brothers, Barbara (Maurice) Johnson, Glen (Deborah) Marks, Theo Marks, Strauter Marks, Jr., Gwendolyn Carpenter, Dorethia Marks Tinker, Murray (Rose) Marks, Toby Marks, Sandra Marks, Felecia (Lorenza) Andry and Glenda (Timothy) Witherspoon; three devoted grandchildren, Karissa Love, Terrence Love, and Carneshia Love; three great grandchildren, Saniya Love, Takhiya Bell and Braedyn Durden; a great host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
