Obituary for Nathaniel "Pie" Harris

Mr. Nathaniel “Pie” Harris, a native of Mobile, Alabama, transitioned peacefully into eternity on Monday, March 30, 2020.

Nathaniel Harris was born to the union of the late Norman Harris Jr. and Ruby Cotton Harris on September 16, 1954. He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior. He made his First Holy Communion early in life, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Mobile, Alabama.

At Central High School, he participated in their marching band, where he was an amazing Drum Major
Nathaniel excelling in different clubs, events and social activities. At Murphy High School, he was an outstanding basketball player where he graduated, class of 1972.

He was a Merchant Marine Seaman for ten years where he travel the world and an Engineer at Curry McGee for six years.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Norman Harris Jr and mother, Ruby Lee Cotton-Harris of Mobile, Alabama; his brothers Jeffrey Harris and Tony Harris of Ft. Worth, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his brothers, James (Zelda) Harris, Marvin Harris, and Terry (Lillian) Lewis; his sisters Denise (Erskin) Harris-Wright, and Deborah Kennedy; his aunt Ernestine (Lorenzo) Fields, of Ft. Worth, Texas; his sister-in-law Casandra Harris, of Ft. Worth, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
