Obituary for Nathaniel Williams Jr.

Nathaniel" Ricky" Williams Jr. - a native and resident of Mobile, born December 6, 1957 departed this life Thursday, April 12, 2007 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mrs. Lelia Washington and Lucille Carter. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and the Male Choir, he was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was always eager to assist whenever needed and never judgemental. There are no words to describe his presence or persona. Those who knew him loved him. He was the strength of his family. Ricky leaves to praise his existence his loving and devoted wife, Sharlene D. Williams, three devoted children, LaMichael (Agnes) Kirksey, Taryn (Jermaine) Walker and Zatavia Williams, four adoring grandsons, Jermaine and Tyler Walker LaMichael Kirksey Jr. and Dorian Williams, his parents, Nathaniel and Katie Williams Sr. all of Mobile; Three brothers, Mario Porter, Kenneth (Debra) Williams and Michael (Carolyn) Williams, all of Atlanta, GA; six sisters, Candace James, Los Angeles, CA., Patrice (Joseph) Grayson, Las Vegas, NV, Cheryl (Richard) Phipps, Boston, MA., Wanda (King) Weaver, Mobile, AL., Paula (Joe) Texiera and Patricia Matthews, Bay Point, CA., devoted mother-in-law, Josie Kirksey, Mobile, two devoted friends, LaVelle Johnson, Sr. and Johnny Fuller, both of Mobile, two uplifting and joyous nieces, Raygen and Rayjah Johnson a host of loving extended family and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, April 20, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday April 21, 2007 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church. Interment in Gethsemane, Mobile. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL.
